Hit refresh for all the latest coverage.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 100 Free:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Vlad Morozov<\/strong> maintained his spot atop the leaderboard in the men&#8217;s 100 free with a final time of 45.99. Today&#8217;s win marks the fourth consecutive win in this event for him, further solidifying his spot as the men&#8217;s leader on the money list.<\/p>\n<p>Japan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Katsumi Nakamura\u00a0<\/strong>took second overall with a final 46.95, followed by Belgium&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Peter Timmers&#8217;\u00a0<\/strong>47.22.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lin Yongqing<\/strong> of China picked up fourth with a 47.63, while Great Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Benjamin Proud\u00a0<\/strong>was fifth overall with a 48.21.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ling Huanan<\/strong> (48.35), Spain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Miguel Ortiz-Canavate<\/strong> (48.40), and China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Liu Zhaochen\u00a0<\/strong>(49.34) rounded out the top eight.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 200 Free:<\/h3>\n<p>Hungary&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Katinka Hosszu<\/strong> posted the top time in finals of the women&#8217;s 200 free, stopping the clock at a time of 1:53.89.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the field was comprised of swimmers from China led by\u00a0<strong>Al Yanhan&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>second place finish of 1:55.18.\u00a0<strong>Zhang Yufei<\/strong> finished close behind with a final time of 1:55.26.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zhang Yuhan\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Shen Duo\u00a0<\/strong>delivered almost matching times to finish fourth and fifth respectively. Zhang touched just .01 seconds ahead of Shen with a 1:55.67, leaving Shen fifth place and a 1:55.68.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sun Meichen<\/strong> (1:55.94),\u00a0<strong>Li Bingjie<\/strong> (1:55.99), and\u00a0<strong>Wang Shijia<\/strong> (1:56.30) completed the top eight.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 50 Breast:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Felipe Lima<\/strong> of Brazil turned up the heat in finals of the men&#8217;s 50 breaststroke claiming the gold in a final time of 26.10.<\/p>\n<p>Russia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Vlad Morozov<\/strong> slipped to second with a final 26.77, followed closely by China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Li Xiang&#8217;s<\/strong> 26.79.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yan Zibei<\/strong> of China and\u00a0<strong>Bradley Tandy\u00a0<\/strong>of South Africa turned in similar times of 26.90 and 26.92 to finish fourth and fifth respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Germany&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Marco Koch\u00a0<\/strong>(27.12),\u00a0<strong>Zhang Zhihao\u00a0<\/strong>(27.15), and\u00a0<strong>Sun Jiajun<\/strong> (27.53) posted sixth through eighth.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 100 Breast:<\/h3>\n<p>The women&#8217;s 100 breaststroke final was highlighted by a large field of talent led by Jamaica&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alia Atkinson<\/strong>. Atkinson moved up from her fifth place seed to claim the gold in a time of 1:03.42. Atkinson has twice tied the World Record in this event (1:02.36) and continues to chase that time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Katie Meili\u00a0<\/strong>of the USA held off a swift back half from Russia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Yuliya Efimova<\/strong> to finish second overall with a 1:04.00. Efimova took third overall with a 1:04.49.<\/p>\n<p>Japan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Rie Kaneto\u00a0<\/strong>posted a 1:05.13 to finish fourth, while China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Shi Jinglin\u00a0<\/strong>was fifth with a time of 1:05.22.<\/p>\n<p>The USA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Breeja Larson\u00a0<\/strong>(1:06.54), China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Yu\u00a0<\/strong><b>Jingo\u00a0<\/b>(1:07.37), and\u00a0<strong>Zhang\u00a0<\/strong><b>Jailing\u00a0<\/b>(1:07.46) were sixth through eighth.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 100 Fly:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Jeanette Ottesen\u00a0<\/strong>of Denmark brought her A game to the finals of the women&#8217;s 100 fly, moving up from a sixth place qualification to win the gold. Ottesen\u00a0stopped the clock at a 56.37 to sneak by China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lu Ying<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Lu led the race through the first half, but was unable to hold off a swift second 50-meters from Ottesen, settling for second and a time of 56.48.<\/p>\n<p>The top seed going into the event,\u00a0<strong>Katinka Hosszu<\/strong>, slipped to third with a time of 56.67.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Madeline Groves<\/strong> of Australia delivered a 57.24 for fourth, while fifth went to\u00a0<strong>Yang Junxuan&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>57.89.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Liu Siyu<\/strong> (57.90),\u00a0<strong>Liu Jing\u00a0<\/strong>(58.23), and Hong Kong&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kin Lok Chan\u00a0<\/strong>(58.33) finished sixth through eighth respectively.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 100 Back:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Xu Jiayu<\/strong> swam to victory in front of his home country of China with a winning time of 50.22 in finals of the men&#8217;s 100 back.<\/p>\n<p>Belarus&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Pavel Sankovich\u00a0<\/strong>posted a close second with a time of 50.26, while Australia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Bobby Hurley<\/strong> picked up the bronze with a time of 50.40.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stanislav Donetc<\/strong> of Russia claimed fourth with a time of 50.62, followed closely by Japan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Takeshi Kawamoto&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>50.65.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wang Peng<\/strong> (52.88), Colombia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Omar Pinzon Garcia\u00a0<\/strong>(53.09), and\u00a0<strong>Zhou Yibing\u00a0<\/strong>(55.05) rounded out the top eight.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 50 Back:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Katinka Hosszu\u00a0<\/strong>claimed her second gold of the day in the women&#8217;s 50 back with a final time of 26.68.<\/p>\n<p>China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Liu Xiang<\/strong> turned in a close time of 26.75 for the silver medal, while\u00a0<strong>Cheng Haihua<\/strong> posted a 26.82 for the bronze.<\/p>\n<p>Ukraine&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Daryna Zevina<\/strong> finished fourth overall with a 26.83, followed by China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Wang Xeer&#8217;s<\/strong> 26.87.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chen Jie\u00a0<\/strong>(26.93),\u00a0<strong>Jiang Lihang<\/strong> (28.25), and\u00a0<strong>Alia Atkinson<\/strong> (29.23) posted sixth through eighth.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 200 Fly:<\/h3>\n<p>South Africa&#8217;s butterfly king\u00a0<strong>Chad le Clos\u00a0<\/strong>continued to reign over the men&#8217;s 200 fly, stopping the clock at a swift 1:49.82 to keep his title.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daiya Seto\u00a0<\/strong>of Japan slipped to second, stopping the clock at a final time of 1:52.59, just ahead of Germany&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Philip Heintz\u00a0<\/strong>and his time of 1:52.88.<\/p>\n<p>Fourth went to\u00a0<strong>Wang Zhou\u00a0<\/strong>and his time of 1:57.64, while\u00a0<strong>Chou Wei-Liang<\/strong> took fifth with a 1:58.41.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cho Cheng-Chi<\/strong> (1:58.62),\u00a0<strong>Zhou Shuchang\u00a0<\/strong>(1:58.64), and\u00a0<strong>Xiao Lei\u00a0<\/strong>(1:58.84) finished sixth through eighth.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 200 IM:<\/h3>\n<p>The Hungarian duo of\u00a0<strong>Katinka Hosszu\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Zsuzsanna Jakabos<\/strong> delivered a 1-2 finish in finals of the women&#8217;s 200 IM posting times of 2:07.37 and 2:09.58 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Jamaica&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alia Atkinson\u00a0<\/strong>finished third overall after a dynamic breaststroke leg moved her up from seventh to second. Atkinson was unable to hold off Jakabos, however, settling for third with a 2:09.60.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zhang Jiaqi\u00a0<\/strong>of China took fourth with a 2:10.97, followed by\u00a0<strong>Zhang Sishi&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>2:12.92.<\/p>\n<p>China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Li Binjie\u00a0<\/strong>(2:14.94),\u00a0<strong>Zhao Shan<\/strong> (2:15.74), and\u00a0China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Shen Duo<\/strong> (2:18.02) rounded out the top eight.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 400 Free:<\/h3>\n<p>South Africa&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Myles Brown<\/strong> outlasted the competition in the men&#8217;s 400 free final. Brown grabbed an early lead at the 100-meter mark and never looked back, stopping the clock at a 3:40.38 to finish first by more than two seconds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bobby Hurley\u00a0<\/strong>of Australia claimed second place with a time of 3:42.52, while the bronze went to China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Qiu Ziao<\/strong> and his time of 3:44.80.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Poul Zellmann\u00a0<\/strong>of Germany posted a time of 3:45.07 for fourth, just ahead of China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Yang Jingtong&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>3:46.44.<\/p>\n<p><strong>An Ting-Yao<\/strong> (3:48.76),\u00a0<strong>Cao Jiwen\u00a0<\/strong>(3:48.82), and\u00a0<strong>Hou Mingda<\/strong> (3:51.91) were sixth through eighth respectively.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 50 Free:<\/h3>\n<p>China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Zhu Menghui\u00a0<\/strong>and Denmark&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jeanette Ottesen<\/strong> delivered matching times in finals of the women&#8217;s splash and dash, stopping the clock simultaneously at the 24.00 mark. For Zhu the 24.00 marks a World Junior record.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tang Yi<\/strong> of China finished third\u00a0with a 24.81, while the USA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Katie Meili\u00a0<\/strong>was fourth with a 24.92.<\/p>\n<p>The field narrowed as\u00a0<strong>Wu\u00a0<\/strong><b>Chengying\u00a0<\/b>(25.01),\u00a0<strong>Han Tingru\u00a0<\/strong>(25.02), and\u00a0<strong>Fu Yuanhui<\/strong> (25.05) posted similar times for fifth through seventh.<\/p>\n<p>Eighth place went to Russia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Natalia Lovtcova<\/strong> and her final time of 25.22.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 200 Breast:<\/h3>\n<p>Germany&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Marco Koch\u00a0<\/strong>secured the gold medal in finals of the men&#8217;s 200 breaststroke, touching with a final time of 2:03.21 to claim his first win of the session.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daiya Seto\u00a0<\/strong>of Japan finished close behind with a time of 2:03.81, holding off the USA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Josh Prenot<\/strong> throughout much of the race. Prenot settled for third and a 2:05.62.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mao Feilian<\/strong> of China took fourth overall with a time of 2:05.82, followed by\u00a0<strong>Wang Boyu&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>2:07.35.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yan Zibei<\/strong> (2:07.85),\u00a0<strong>Cai Bing Rong<\/strong> (2:08.34), and\u00a0<strong>Lee Hsuan-Yen<\/strong> (2:08.92) completed the top eight.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 100 IM:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Vlad Morozov<\/strong> rebounded from his fourth place seed to finish first in the men&#8217;s 100 IM with a time of 51.06. Morozov has enjoyed a lot of success in the 100 IM having set the World Record multiple times throughout the first cluster of the FINA World Cup series.<\/p>\n<p>China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Wang Shun\u00a0<\/strong>took second with a time of 51.64, while Germany&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Philip Heintz<\/strong> rounded out the podium with a 52.45.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zhang Qibin<\/strong> finished fourth overall with a 53.41, followed closely by\u00a0<strong>Ling\u00a0<\/strong><b>Huanan<\/b> (53.65) and\u00a0<strong>Hu Yixuan<\/strong> (53.92).<\/p>\n<p>Seventh and eighth place went to China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Qian Zhiyong<\/strong> (54.72) and Japan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Daiya Seto<\/strong> (57.01).<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 200 Back:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Daryna Zevina\u00a0<\/strong>of Ukraine maintained her spot atop the leaderboard in the women&#8217;s 200 back finishing first with a final time of 2:01.61. Zevina currently holds the World Cup record at a 1:59.35 from the 2016 Paris-Chartres stop when she gave\u00a0<strong>Katinka Hosszu&#8217;s<\/strong> 1:59.23 World Record a scare.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu finished second overall with a time of 2:04.68, while\u00a0<strong>Xu Huiyi<\/strong> rounded out the podium with a 2:06.42.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Liu Yaxin<\/strong> took fourth with a 2:07.02, followed closely by Hungary&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Zsuzsanna Jakabos<\/strong> and her time of 2:07.03.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zhu Chaonan<\/strong> (2:07.05),\u00a0<strong>Yang Yifan<\/strong> (2:08.53), and\u00a0<strong>Yin Yan Claudia Lau<\/strong> (2:15.73) were sixth through eighth.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 50 Fly:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Chad le Clos<\/strong> of South Africa picked up his second win of the session in finals of the men&#8217;s 50 fly with a 22.14 finish.<\/p>\n<p>Great Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Benjamin Proud<\/strong> (22.77) and Japan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Takeshi Kawamoto\u00a0<\/strong>(22.86) posted the only other sub-23 second swims.<\/p>\n<p>China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Li Zhuhao<\/strong> was fourth with a 23.05, just ahead of Belarus&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Pavel Sankovich\u00a0<\/strong>and his time of 23.06.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wang Peng<\/strong> (23.14),\u00a0<strong>Josh Prenot<\/strong> (23.57), and\u00a0<strong>Bradley Tandy<\/strong> (23.61) completed the top eight.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 800 Free:<\/h3>\n<p>The Chinese duo of\u00a0<strong>Hou Yawen\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Li Bingjie<\/strong> posted the top times in finals of the women&#8217;s 800 free. Hou led throughout much of the race, stopping the clock at a final time of 8:16.81 for first and to flirt with the World Junior Record of 8:16.11. Bingjie was second with a time of 8:19.34.<\/p>\n<p>Hungary&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Katinka Hosszu\u00a0<\/strong>earned the bronze medal with a time of 8:25.62, followed by China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Dong Jie&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>8:31.46.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LV Zeying\u00a0<\/strong>took fifth place with a time of 8:32.88, while\u00a0<strong>Chen Yejie\u00a0<\/strong>finished sixth with a 8:38.72.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yang Chang<\/strong> and Hungary&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Zsuzsanna Jakabos\u00a0<\/strong>were seventh and eighth with times of 8:40.32 and 8:42.36 respectively.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 400 IM:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Daiya Seto<\/strong> of Japan claimed his first gold medal of the session with a win in the men&#8217;s 400 IM.
