Lakeside Aquatic Club’s Lauren Savoy\u00a0<\/strong>has given her verbal commitment to the University of Missouri.<\/p>\n

The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American swims for Marcus High School. Savoy is the Marcus High record holder in the 200 and 500 freestyles. At the 2016 6A Texas High School championship<\/a>\u00a0her top finish was a bronze in the 200 freestyle.<\/p>\n

At this summer’s Futures championships in Austin<\/a> she won the 200 breaststroke and the 200 IM and earned the meet’s High Point honors. Savoy’s long course and short course strengths are a bit different. With a short course season as successful as this long course one, she could broaden and strengthen her potential event lineup.<\/p>\n
