Dyck is a home schooled senior who swims primarily back and sprint freestyle with YOTA (YMCA of the Triangle Area). Under <strong>Coach Chad Onken<\/strong>, he was a multi-event individual and relay finalist at the 2016 YMCA Short Course Nationals. As a Junior, Dyck also achieved a 2017 Summer Junior LCM (49.63) and a 2016 Winter Junior SCY (1:50.24).<\/p>\n<p>His best SCY times include:<br \/>\n\u00b7 100 back \u2013 49.63<br \/>\n\u00b7 200 back \u2013 1:50.24<br \/>\n\u00b7 50 free &#8211; 21.53<br \/>\n\u00b7 100 free \u2013 46.95<\/p>\n<p>Dyck\u00a0said, &#8220;I am thrilled to be attending to Florida Southern. When I visited the campus, I knew it was a place where I could both succeed and contribute. Go Mocs!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Florida Southern won the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2016-sunshine-state-conference-championships\" target=\"_blank\">2016 Sunshine State Conference Championships<\/a>. Dyck would have been an A finalist in both backstroke events last year.\u00a0<strong>Marco Palacios\u00a0<\/strong>won both of those events last year.
