Griesser, who swims for Academy Bullets in Illinois, is a versatile swimmer. Her best events are backstroke, butterfly, and the 400 IM.<\/p>\n<p>Griesser&#8217;s best times:<\/p>\n<p>100\/200 Back: 59.22\/2:04.45<\/p>\n<p>100\/200 Fly: 59.92\/ 2:07.54<\/p>\n<p>400 IM: 4:34.07<\/p>\n<p>In the last year she dropped nearly two seconds in her 200 backstroke and just over two in the 200 butterfly. Her 400 IM has also been rapidly improving, as her 2015 best was a 4:41.25.\u00a0<strong>Danielle Galyer<\/strong>, the 2016 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/danielle-galyer-wins-kentuckys-1st-ncaa-swimming-title-200-back-triumph\/\" target=\"_blank\">200 backstroke NCAA champ<\/a> is the current leader of the Wildcat backstroke group while the butterfly squad is highlighted by\u00a0<strong>Hayley McInerny.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kentucky placed eighth at last season&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2016-southeastern-conference-championships\" target=\"_blank\">SEC Championships<\/a>. Griesser is not yet in scoring range in the very deep conference.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/sprinter-nora-fullenkamp-makes-verbal-commit-to-kentucky-wildcats\/\" target=\"_blank\">Nora Fullenkamp<\/a><\/strong> and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/jackie-hill-gives-verbal-nod-to-kentucky\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jackie Hill<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>will also be members of the Class of 2021.
