The\u00a0USA Swimming Scholastic All-American\u00a0trains with the Sandpipers of Nevada.<\/p>\n<p>Grimes had a great long course season, swimming the 400 IM and 1500 freestyle at Olympic Trials. He finished the summer with best times at US Open and Junior Nationals, highlighted by a third place finish in the 200 butterfly and fifth in the 400 IM at Juniors.<\/p>\n<p>In short course, the high school senior&#8217;s best times are:<\/p>\n<p>500\/1000\/1650 Freestyle: 4:24.35\/9:14.54\/15:21.33<\/p>\n<p>400 IM: 3:50.90<\/p>\n<p>Mizzou finished fifth at last season&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2016-southeastern-conference-championships\" target=\"_blank\">SEC Championships<\/a>, just 13 points behind Alabama. Grimes will likely swim the endurance trifecta for the Tigers.
