For more information about Agon, visit their website <a href=\"https:\/\/agonswim.com\/\">AgonSwim.com<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bailey Grinter\u00a0<\/strong>has given her verbal commitment to the University of Tennessee for the 2017-2018 season.<\/p>\n<p>Grinter swims for the Edwardsville YMCA in Illinois. This summer, she was the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/karl-bishop-clocks-y-national-record-hickory-women-wilton-men-win\/\" target=\"_blank\">YMCA National Champion<\/a> in the 50 backstroke and finished third in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/leah-braswell-among-record-challengers-on-night-4-of-ymca-nationals\/\" target=\"_blank\">50 freestyle<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/camryn-forbes-maxwell-mchugh-take-down-national-marks-on-night-3-of-ymca-nationals\/\" target=\"_blank\">100 backstroke<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In yards, Grinter&#8217;s best times are:<\/p>\n<p>50\/100\/200 freestyle: 22.62\/50.90\/1:52.70<\/p>\n<p>50\/100\/200 backstroke: 26.73\/54.57\/1:69.04<\/p>\n<p>While swimming for Edwardsville High School at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/lake-forest-relay-breaks-state-record-on-final-day-of-illinois-girls-high-school-state-championships\/\" target=\"_blank\">2015 Illinois Girls High School State Meet<\/a>\u00a0Grinter finished third in the 50 freestyle in 22.95.<\/p>\n<p>At the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2016-southeastern-conference-championships\" target=\"_blank\">2016 SEC Championships<\/a>, Tennessee finished second to Texas A&amp;M. Eventual NCAA Champs Georgia were third. Grinter would have added to Tennessee&#8217;s point total as her best time in the 50 freestyle would have put her in the B final.
