For more information about Agon, visit their website <a href=\"https:\/\/agonswim.com\/\">AgonSwim.com<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>Evie Pfeifer\u00a0<\/strong>has given the Texas Longhorns their second verbal commitment this week.\u00a0She will join <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/texas-longhorns-snag-verbal-commit-from-local-talent-victoria-edwards\/\" target=\"_blank\">local swimmer<\/a>\u00a0<strong>Victoria Edwards\u00a0<\/strong>in the Class of 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Pfeifer told\u00a0<em>Swimming World<\/em>, &#8220;I can&#8217;t wait to be a Longhorn next year! Looking forward to being a teammate to a great group of girls and training under a fantastic staff. Hook &#8217;em!!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Pfeifer swims for the CSP Tideriders in Saint Louis, MO. The five event Olympic Trials\u00a0qualifier is a versatile swimmer who will have a number of options when she arrives in Austin.<\/p>\n<p>Pfeifer&#8217;s best events:<\/p>\n<p>200 Backstroke 1:56.59<\/p>\n<p>200 Freestyle 1:45.92<\/p>\n<p>1000 Freestyle 9:48.21<\/p>\n<p>500 Freestyle 4:42.87<\/p>\n<p>100 Freestyle 49.54<\/p>\n<p>While the 1000 is not a <a href=\"http:\/\/swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2016-big-12-championships\" target=\"_blank\">Big 12 Conference<\/a> event, Pfeifer would have finished at the top of the 2016 meet in each of her other best events. She would have been second in the 200 and 500 freestyles and third in the 200 backstroke and 100 freestyle.
