House&#8217;s best short course events are the 100 and 200 freestyle and the high school senior has some versatility as well.<\/p>\n<p>House&#8217;s best short course times:<\/p>\n<p>200 Freestyle 1:35.84<\/p>\n<p>100 Freestyle 44.26<\/p>\n<p>200 IM 1:47.82<\/p>\n<p>200 Breaststroke 1:59.88<\/p>\n<p>While his best freestyle times come from the 2014 Ohio High School state meet, swum in his freshman year, he has seen recent steady improvement in his IM and breaststroke. His 200 breaststroke best time was only a 2:04.99 in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The Countryside YMCA swimmer also\u00a0brings significant experience with him. He was a member of USA swimming&#8217;s 2015 FINA World Junior Championships team. In Singapore he was a member of the gold medal winning 800 freestyle relay team.<\/p>\n<p>House told\u00a0<em>Swimming World<\/em>,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I made my decision because I was impressed with their academics and facilities for the students and athletes. These two aspects will allow me to pursue my goals during college and beyond.\u00a0Coach Bowman has a lot of respect and I have great respect for him. They are creating something pretty special at ASU and I want to be a part of that.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>At the <a href=\"http:\/\/swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2016-pac-12-mens-championships\" target=\"_blank\">2016 Pac-12 Championships<\/a>, House would have been the top finishing Sun Devil, placing at the top of the non-scoring C final in the 200 IM. His 100 freestyle would have put him in the same place, as the fourth best Arizona State swimmer. All three of those faster than him will have graduated by the time House arrives in Tempe. His highest finish would have come in the 200 freestyle, where he would have been in the middle of the B final.<\/p>\n<p>The Arizona State men finished fifth of six teams last winter.
