PRINCETON, N.J., Feb. 4. JESSE GAGE won two events on the final day of competition to lead the Princeton men's swimming and diving team to a 197-156 win over Harvard and a 253-100 win over Yale at the H-Y-P meet at DeNunzio Pool on Sunday. Harvard defeated Yale 243-110.<\/p>\n
Gage won the 100 free with a time of 44.03 and the 100 fly in 47.87. He also led off the relay team of Mike Salerno, Nathan Rebuck and Jaimie Leahy that won the 400 free relay and set a new Princeton record with a time of 2:58.47, shaving .37 seconds off the previous
\nrecord. Garth Fealey won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:02.<\/p>\n
In all, the Tigers won nine out of 19 events with Gage taking three and Fealey winning two.<\/p>\n
Yale's George Gleason won the 200 IM in 1:47.35, the fastest time in the nation this season. Harvard's John Cole also turned in a nation-leading time, winning the 1000 free in 8:54.92.<\/p>\n
