In the 50 butterfly, Ottesen edged\u00a0<strong>Emily Seebhom\u00a0<\/strong>for the top spot, 26.51 to 26.52.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Katie Meili\u00a0<\/strong>was the only swimmer to clear 30 in the 50 breaststroke, stopping the clock in 29.81.\u00a0<strong>Daryna Zevina\u00a0<\/strong>continued to be a backstroke force, securing the top spot in the 100 backstroke by a second and a half. Zevina touched in 57.09.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anastasiia Kirpichnikova\u00a0<\/strong>led the way in the 400 freestyle in 4:09.59.\u00a0<strong>Katinka Hosszu\u00a0<\/strong>(4:11.18) and\u00a0<strong>Hannah Miley\u00a0<\/strong>(4:11.64) followed.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu was first to the wall in the 100 IM, finishing in 58.94. Meili also dipped under a minute (59.80).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bobby Hurley\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>James Guy\u00a0<\/strong>finished in 1:47.11 and 1:47.17 to secure the top two 200 freestyle seeds. Guy then led the way in the 100 butterfly with a 50.85.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kirill Prigoda\u00a0<\/strong>out touched\u00a0<strong>Felipe Lima\u00a0<\/strong>58.73 to 58.74 for the top seed in the 100 breaststroke. Prigoda also secured the top spot in the 200 IM, touching in 1:58.59, a second and a half ahead of the next best swimmer.<\/p>\n<p>While the top five men finished within two tenths of each other in the 50 backstroke,\u00a0<strong>Andrewl Shabasov\u00a0<\/strong>(23.95),\u00a0<strong>Vladimir Morozov\u00a0<\/strong>(23.97), and\u00a0<strong>Mitch Larkin\u00a0<\/strong>(24.02) posted the fastest times of the morning.
