Schedule of Events:<\/b><\/p>\n Hit refresh for the latest results\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n On the last day of the Speedo Junior Nationals, things started off this morning with the women’s 200 IM. \u00a0Touching first overall was\u00a0Zoe Bartel\u00a0<\/strong>of Fort Collins, who crushed the back half of her preliminary race, splitting 38.58 on the breast stroke and 32.66 on the freestyle to touch at 2;17.22. \u00a0Second this morning, Dannielle Dilsaver of Greater Nebraska was just behind Bartel at 2:17.45.<\/p>\n Finishing third this morning and making another appearance in the A final was Regan Smith\u00a0<\/strong>of Riptide Swim Team who after being entered at a yards time, crushed the early heats to touch at 2:18.37. \u00a0Kenisha Liu\u00a0<\/strong>of Brea Aquatics will be\u00a0the fourth seed tonight, touching at 2:18.48 this preliminary session. \u00a0Liu was just ahead of Carmel Swim Club’s\u00a0Sammi\u00a0<\/strong>Burchill\u00a0<\/strong>who finished fifth overall at 2:18.55.<\/p>\n Dilsaver’s teammates Caroline Theil\u00a0<\/strong>(2:18.94) and\u00a0Olivia Calegan<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>(2:19.21) will also be in the A final tonight, finishing sixth and eighth overall. \u00a0Hannah Foster\u00a0<\/strong>(2:19.07) of the Mason Manta Rays will round out the top eight tonight with the seventh fastest time this morning.<\/p>\n Once again,\u00a0Michael Andrew\u00a0<\/strong>of Race Pace Club stole the top seed entering tonight’s final. \u00a0Andrew touched at 2:02.57 this morning, well ahead of the rest of the field. \u00a0Kieran Smith\u00a0<\/strong>of Ridgefield Aquatics will be the second seed in the A\u00a0final with a best time of 2:04.83.<\/p>\n Third this morning was\u00a0Tommy Cope\u00a0<\/strong>of the Dayton Raiders who finished just behind Smith at 2:04.89. \u00a0Brennan Pastorek\u00a0<\/strong>of Georgia Coastal\u00a0was fifth overall this morning finishing at 2:05.27. \u00a0Pastorek was just three hundredths ahead of\u00a0Matthew Willenbring\u00a0<\/strong>of the Austin Swim Club who finished at 2:05.50.<\/p>\n William Macmillan\u00a0<\/strong>(2:05.62) of North Carolina Aquatics will be sixth entering tonight,\u00a0Sam Iida\u00a0<\/strong>(2:05.82) of Glenview Titans is seventh and\u00a0Eric Knowles\u00a0<\/strong>(2:05.84) of the Dayton Raiders is eighth.<\/p>\n Anya Goeders\u00a0<\/strong>of Mako Swim Team will be the top seed entering tonight’s A final. \u00a0Goeders was just off her best this morning, touching at 25.30, well ahead of the rest of the A final.<\/p>\n The second seed tonight will be\u00a0<\/strong>winner of the 200 free,\u00a0Morgan Tankersley\u00a0<\/strong>of Greater Tampa who finished just off her best this morning at 26.11. \u00a0Only a hundredth behind her was a tie for third between\u00a0Brea’s\u00a0Kenisha Liu\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0North Bay Aquatics’\u00a0<\/strong>Miki Dahlke\u00a0<\/strong>at 26.12.<\/p>\n Ashley Volpenhein\u00a0<\/strong>of the Mason Manta Rays will take the fifth seed tonight at 26.17, while\u00a0Kylee Alons\u00a0<\/strong>of Fort Collins was sixth this morning with a best time of 26.27. \u00a0To round out the top eight there was a tie for seventh between\u00a0Lucie Nordmann\u00a0<\/strong>of the Marietta Marlins and\u00a0Sarah Grinalds\u00a0<\/strong>of Westport Weston at 26.36.<\/p>\n With a quick turn around,\u00a0Michael Andrew\u00a0<\/strong>of Race Pace Club still managed to take the top seed for tonight’s A final in the men’s 50 free, finishing at 22.56. \u00a0Andrew is about a half second ahead of the second place seed,\u00a0Drew Kibler\u00a0<\/strong>of Carmel Swim Club, who finished with a best time of 22.93.<\/p>\n Alberto Mestre\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>of the Tiger Shark Swim Team will be third entering tonight, also finishing this morning with a best time of 23.29. \u00a0Mestre is just a hundredth ahead of fourth place finisher\u00a0David Madej<\/strong> who touched with a best time of 23.30.<\/p>\n Devon Nowicki<\/strong> of Aqua Swim Club was fifth this morning at 23.46. \u00a0John Whiteside\u00a0<\/strong>(23.50) of Westport Weston,\u00a0Colin Riley\u00a0<\/strong>(23.53) of the Marietta Marlins and\u00a0Jordan Greenberg\u00a0<\/strong>(23.69) will compete in the A final as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Everything you need to know to follow along with day five of the Speedo Junior Nationals can be found below.
