Only 12 swimming finals remain at the Olympic Games, and before the sixth night of finals at the Olympic Aquatic Stadium,\u00a0Swimming World’s\u00a0<\/em>David Rieder\u00a0<\/strong>and SwimVortex’s\u00a0John Lohn\u00a0<\/strong>teamed up to preview the night’s upcoming gold medal races and look back at the highlights from the previous two nights.<\/p>\n

Rieder and Lohn recapped\u00a0Michael Phelps’\u00a0<\/strong>historic performance on Tuesday night, when he won the 20th and 21st gold medals of his historic career, and they checked in on\u00a0Katie Ledecky’s<\/strong> chase for history after she edged\u00a0Sarah Sjostrom\u00a0<\/strong>for gold in the 200 free Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Also discussed were day six’s four finals, which will include\u00a0Cate Campbell<\/strong> going for gold in the women’s 100 free, a wide-open women’s 200 breast and a duel between\u00a0Mitch Larkin\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Ryan Murphy<\/strong> in the men’s 200 back. And of course, there’s the men’s 200 IM final, which will include the last race ever between Phelps and\u00a0Ryan Lochte<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
