With the halfway point of the swimming competition at the Olympic Games fast approaching,\u00a0Swimming World’s\u00a0<\/em>David Rieder<\/strong> and SwimVortex’s\u00a0John Lohn<\/strong> again sat down in the Main Press Center recap the past two nights’ finals and to preview what is to come on night four.<\/p>\n

Rieder and Lohn broke down what made the three individual world records from Sunday night\u2014Sarah Sjostrom\u00a0<\/strong>in the women’s 200 free,\u00a0Adam Peaty\u00a0<\/strong>in the men’s 100 breast and\u00a0Katie Ledecky<\/strong> in the women’s 400 free\u2014so impressive, and also discussed statement gold medal-winning swims by\u00a0Ryan Murphy\u00a0<\/strong>in the men’s 100 back and\u00a0Lilly King<\/strong> in the women’s 100 breast.<\/p>\n

The pair also explained which countries have momentum right now and which do not and discussed what is to come from Sjostrom, Ledecky,\u00a0Michael Phelps<\/strong>,\u00a0Katinka Hosszu<\/strong> and other big names in Tuesday’s finals, which get underway at 10 p.m. local time in Rio.<\/p>\n
