Prior to the second evening of finals at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janerio,\u00a0Swimming World’s\u00a0<\/em>David Rieder<\/strong> and SwimVortex’s John Lohn\u00a0<\/strong>again teamed up, as they did at U.S. Olympic Trials, to break down all the action thus far and look ahead to the four finals on tap for Sunday.<\/p>\n

From the Main Press Center at Barra Olympic Park, Rieder and Lohn discussed\u00a0Kosuke Hagino’s\u00a0<\/strong>impressive victory over\u00a0Chase Kalisz\u00a0<\/strong>in the 400 IM and the Australians’ come-from-behind triumph over the United States in the women’s 400 free relay. They then explained why they think that none of Sunday’s three individual finals will be all that close.<\/p>\n

They also looked ahead to the pending four-team showdown in the men’s 400 free relay and explained what Australia, France, Russia and the United States each need to do to take home gold.<\/p>\n
