Nathaniel Carr\u00a0<\/strong>had a successful second night at the Futures Championships in College Park, Maryland. Carr took first in the men’s 200 freestyle with a time of 1:52.77.\u00a0Daniel Cook\u00a0<\/strong>touched the wall in 1:53.02 to take second, and\u00a0Andrew Greenhalgh\u00a0<\/strong>of Rockville-Montgomery Swim Club finished third with a 1:53.53.<\/p>\n

Carr also competed in the 100 breaststroke, where he clocked a 1:04.47 to take second place, while\u00a0Upper Dublin Aquatic Club’s\u00a0Wyatt Amdor\u00a0<\/strong>won the event in a 1:04.04.<\/p>\n

Nation’s Capital dominated the women’s 200 freestyle.\u00a0Claire Nguyen\u00a0<\/strong>finished first with a 2:02.63. Her teammate\u00a0Sinead Eksteen\u00a0<\/strong>nabbed second\u00a0in a 2:02.93, and Madeline Laporte<\/strong>–yet another\u00a0Nation’s Capital swimmer–took third in a 2:03.17.<\/p>\n

Nation’s Capital also had a win in the women’s 100 butterfly.\u00a0Isabella Gati\u00a0<\/strong>won with a 1:01.35.\u00a0Amelia Bullock\u00a0<\/strong>finished second in a 1:01.82, and\u00a0Allison Goldblatt\u00a0<\/strong>finished a mere .02 seconds later to earn third place (1:01.84).<\/p>\n

The final win of the night for Nation’s Capital was in the men’s 400 IM, where\u00a0Lane Stone <\/strong>swam\u00a0a 4:26.86.\u00a0Ivan Puskovtich<\/strong>,\u00a0who won the men’s 1500 last night, claimed second with a 4:28.26. William Roberts<\/strong> finished third in a 4:29.11.<\/p>\n

Mary Buckley\u00a0<\/strong>finished first in the women’s 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:12.11. Jaycee Yegher<\/strong> of Rockville-Montgomery Swim Club clocked a 1:12.68 for second place, while Anna Keating<\/strong> finished shortly after in a 1:12.73.<\/p>\n

Columbia Aquatics’ Jack Saunderson\u00a0<\/strong>led the pack in the men’s 100 butterfly with a 53.59.\u00a0River Wright\u00a0<\/strong>took second in a 55.47, and\u00a0Cason Wilburn <\/strong>of East Coast Aquatic Team\u00a0finished third with a 55.64.<\/p>\n

Bryanna Cameron <\/strong>swam a 4:52.01 to win the women’s\u00a0400 IM,\u00a0dropping four seconds from her entry time. Colby Hurt<\/strong>\u00a0of 757 Swim took second with a 4:54.50.\u00a0Junseo Kim<\/strong> finished in a 4:57.43 to claim third.<\/p>\n
