On His Way Up–Male High School Swimmer of the Year<\/h2>\n

After being a runner-up last year, Rancho Margarita (Calif.) High School\u2019s Grant Shoults<\/strong> was named Swimming World\u2019s<\/em> Male High School Swimmer of the Year for the 2015-16 season. He set two national high school records, competed in the U.S. Olympic Trials and will be swimming for Stanford next fall. According to Shoults’ club coach, Bill Rose,<\/strong> the best is yet to come, exclaiming, “Four years from now, I think he will be at the top of the mountain.”<\/p>\n

Earlier this summer Shoults was named to the NISCA High School All-America list and posted the fastest time in the nation for both the 200-yard and 500-yard freestyles.\u00a0<\/strong>The full list of national champions can be found below.<\/p>\n
