She also told the story of her start in the sport.<\/p>\n<p>Weir will be a member of the 400 freestyle relay, after finishing third in the 100 at Trials. In 2012 she was a member of that relay when it earned a bronze medal. Weird made her Olympic debut in 2004 when the team broke the American record in the 400 freestyle relay.
