THE second evening of long course meter swimming at the Serbian Open National Championships came to a close in Belgrade.<\/p>\n<p>Miroslava Najdanovski won the women&#39;s 50 free in 26.34 with Andjelka Petrovic taking second in 26.58.  Rebeka Repman placed third in 27.50. Boris Stojanovic followed in the men&#39;s 50 free with a winning time of 23.97.  Dimitar Dechev took second in 24.65, while Nikola Simic placed third in 24.70.<\/p>\n<p>Nadja Higl won the women&#39;s 50 breast in 33.81, missing the national record of 33.65 set by Najdanovski in 2007.  Jovanka Marjanovic touched second in 34.68 with Jovana Bogdanovic placing third in 35.11. Caba Siladji also missed a national mark in the men&#39;s 50 breast with a 28.22. His April record of 28.01 stood up to the charge. Mladen Tepavcevic finished second in 28.81, while Lachezar Shumkov took third in 30.36.<\/p>\n<p>Andrea Basaraba captured the women&#39;s 400 free in 4:25.33. Marija Joksimovic posted a second-place 4:54.24, while Marina Dimitrijevic placed third in 5:04.57.  Stefan Sorak turned in a first-place 4:08.57 in the men&#39;s 400 free. Mihailo Nikolic placed second in 4:17.18, while Igor Mijatovic finished third in 4:19.45.<\/p>\n<p>Danijela Djikanovic claimed the women&#39;s 100 back in 1:08.27.  Milica Ivancevic finished second in 1:11.32 with Katarina Draganov placing third in 1:11.87.  Ivan Kopas and Petar Petrovic tied for the men&#39;s 100 back title with matching 58.92s. Lazar Bogdanovski clinched third in 58.94, almost leading to a three-way tie for the victory.<\/p>\n<p>Katarina Simonovic walked away with the women&#39;s 100 fly crown in 1:04.92. Dobromira Ivanova touched second in 1:06.11, while Sara Ilic finished third in 1:06.95.  Dragana Ivanovic finished the women&#39;s 400 IM with no one else in the heat with a 5:21.03. Nikola Trajkovic touched first in the men&#39;s 400 IM with a time of 4:52.23. Radomir Asceric pocketed a second-place 4:58.77.
