Open water swimmer\u00a0<strong>Anastasia Krapivina\u00a0<\/strong>was on that list. Krapivina had a positive doping suspension in 2013, thus the Russian Olympic Committee pulled her entry as she did not comply with the third <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ioc-releases-conditions-for-russian-participation-in-rio-olympics-avoids-full-ban\/\" target=\"_blank\">IOC condition<\/a> for Russian Olympic participation.<\/p>\n<p>Krapivinia finished fifth in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/frances-aurelie-muller-captures-womens-10k-open-water-race-at-2015-fina-world-championships\/\" target=\"_blank\">last summer&#8217;s 10K<\/a> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2015-fina-world-championships\" target=\"_blank\">World Championships<\/a>, automatically qualifying her for Rio. In last summer&#8217;s race in Kazan, Russia she finished just two seconds shy of a medal.<\/p>\n<p>Hungary&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Anna Olasz\u00a0<\/strong>finished 11th in that race last summer. Hungarian media is reported that Olasz will fill Krapivina&#8217;s spot in Rio.<\/p>\n<p>Olasz earned silver in last summer&#8217;s 25K.\u00a0The 22 year old is a rising senior at Arizona State University.<\/p>\n<p>See the full list of Open Water qualifiers\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fina.org\/content\/rio-2016-marathon-swimming-participating-athletes\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.
