﻿{"id":213589,"date":"2016-07-23T16:37:56","date_gmt":"2016-07-23T23:37:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=213589"},"modified":"2016-07-23T16:37:56","modified_gmt":"2016-07-23T23:37:56","slug":"213589-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/213589-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Meyer of the Northern Kentucky Clippers Adds to his Success in Columbus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As the second timed finals session of the day, the night session started off with the women&#8217;s 200 meter free relay. \u00a0The Ohio State Swim Club women crushed the final heat finishing with a time of 1:44.42. \u00a0East Grand Rapids was second behind OSSC with a time of 1:47.95, while Club Wolverine was third at 1:48.50.<\/p>\n<p>The men&#8217;s 200 free relay took off next with the Ohio State Swim Club taking the win and dominating the event by over four second. \u00a0OSSC touched at 1:32.00, while Club Wolverine touched second at 1:36.02 and the Dayton Raiders A relay was third by .03 at 1:36.05.<\/p>\n<p>After the relays, the women&#8217;s 200 meter IM took place with\u00a0<strong>Meg Bailey\u00a0<\/strong>of the Ohio State Swim Club garnering her second individual win of the day. \u00a0Bailey finished at 2:15.81, while\u00a0<strong>Zoe Thatcher\u00a0<\/strong>clocked in a time of 2:16.65. \u00a0The two finished well ahead of the rest of the field, with\u00a0<strong>Sophie Skinner\u00a0<\/strong>of the Northern Kentucky Clippers touching third at 2:20.75.<\/p>\n<p>As for the men&#8217;s 200 meter IM, Club Wolverine had quite a showing in the event. \u00a0Like Bailey,\u00a0<strong>Cameron Craig\u00a0<\/strong>of Club Wolverine garnered his second individual win of the day. \u00a0Craig touched at 2:06.20 over a second ahead of\u00a0<strong>Nicholas Smith<\/strong>\u00a0of the Northern Kentucky Clippers<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>who touched second at 2:07.53.
