CHAPEL HILL, North Carolina, June 4. THE University of North Carolina men's and women's swimming and diving program completed its spring recruiting recently with the addition of 10 swimmers and divers to the Class of 2013. Head coach Rich DeSelm also signed eight prospective student-athletes in the fall signing period last November bringing the entire class to 18 individuals.<\/p>\n

Following are brief bios on the 10 spring signees with quotes both from the individuals and head coach DeSelm. The spring class includes five men and five women.<\/p>\n

Due to the talent and depth of our men's diving squad, Bryant will red-shirt his first year, which will prepare him to become one of the best res shirt freshman Carolina will have competing for them next fall. As is with our other freshmen coming in, his character and values are what we look for in standout student athletes."
