Claiming gold was Italy&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emanuele Russo<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Andrea Filadelli<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Ludovica Lugli<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Giulia Berton\u00a0<\/strong>in 58:06.4. Berton was runner up in her individual 5K on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Not even three seconds behind in 58:09.1 were\u00a0<strong>Akos Kalmar<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Zoltan Tabi<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Janka Juhasz<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Fanni Kun-Szabo\u00a0<\/strong>of Hungary.<\/p>\n<p>Great Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Hector Pardoe<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Phoebe Griffiths<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Nathan Hughes<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Leah Crisp\u00a0<\/strong>completed the podium in 58:12.6. Parode was also third place in his 5K earlier this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The times in the Under 19 relay were significantly faster with 17 of the 20 teams finishing under an hour. Germany finished just a second ahead of Italy to win the event.\u00a0<strong>Paul Hentschel<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Lea Boy<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Thore Bermel<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Jeanette Spiwoks\u00a0<\/strong>combined for a 56:06.2.\u00a0<strong>Nicola Roberto<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Andrea Manzi<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Alisia Tettamanzi<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Sophie Cavagnola\u00a0<\/strong>posted a 56:07.4 for second.<\/p>\n<p>France&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Fares Zitouni<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Oceane Cassignol<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Lisa Pou<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Logan Fontaine\u00a0<\/strong>swam a 56:19.8 for third place. Fontaine was the individual 7.5K champion and Cassignol finished second in Sunday&#8217;s women&#8217;s 7.5K race.<\/p>\n<p>The gold medal wealth was well spread this weekend, with no nation winning more than one event. In the 5Ks, gold went to swimmers from Russia and China while the 7.5Ks were won by French and Spanish swimmers.
