Great Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alice Dearing\u00a0<\/strong>finished first in 2:04:25.1, only a half second ahead of\u00a0<strong>Nikoletta Kiss<\/strong> of Hungary in 2:04:25.6. Just 1.9\u00a0seconds behind Dearing was Russia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Valeriia Ermakova\u00a0<\/strong>in 2:04:27.0.<\/p>\n<p>In the mens race, the victory was more decisive. Hungary&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kristof Rasovszky\u00a0<\/strong>stopped the clock in 1:53:01.7. Thirty seconds behind him was\u00a0<strong>Zhongyi Qiao\u00a0<\/strong>of China\u00a0in 15:32.0. Completing the podium was Italy&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Andrea Manzi\u00a0<\/strong>with a 1:53:36.9.<\/p>\n<p>Through the second of three days of competition, the wealth has been fairly spread out. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/logan-fontaine-paula-ruiz-start-world-junior-open-water-champs-with-huge-victories\/\" target=\"_blank\">Yesterday&#8217;s champions<\/a> came from Russia, China, France, and Spain.
