Belmonte&#8217;s time stands as a new meet record. Only three seconds behind was\u00a0<strong>Melani Costa\u00a0<\/strong>in 8:27.09.<\/p>\n<p>Belmonte returned the next evening for a winning time of 2:07.27 in the 200 butterfly.\u00a0<strong>Judit Ignacio\u00a0<\/strong>joined her under 2:10 with a 2:08.87.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marc Sanchez\u00a0<\/strong>also set\u00a0a meet record with his 15:16.74 in the 1500. On his tail was\u00a0<strong>Antonio Arroyo\u00a0<\/strong>in 15:18.17.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Konrad Cerniak\u00a0<\/strong>opened the second finals session in a 50 freestyle win. He stopped the clock in 22.26, over a half a second ahead of the next best finisher.\u00a0<strong>Miguel Ortiz-Canavate\u00a0<\/strong>touched second in 22.70.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marta Gonzalez\u00a0<\/strong>was the first of two women under 26 seconds in the women&#8217;s 50 freestyle. She touched in 25.56 while\u00a0<strong>Fatima Gallardo\u00a0<\/strong>finished second in 25.64.\u00a0<strong>Lidon Munoz Del Campo\u00a0<\/strong>finished in 26.00 for third.<\/p>\n<p>In the men&#8217;s 400 IM\u00a0<strong>Marc Sanchez\u00a0<\/strong>touched first in 4:18.33, taking seven seconds off his prelims swim. In 4:19.00\u00a0<strong>Lluis Pons\u00a0<\/strong>earned silver.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carlos Peralta\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 1:57.56 for gold in the men&#8217;s 200 butterfly as the only finisher under two minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Gold in the women&#8217;s 100 backstroke went to\u00a0<strong>Duane Da Rocha\u00a0<\/strong>with a 1:01.53. Almost a second behind her was\u00a0<strong>Mercedes Peris\u00a0<\/strong>in 1:02.23. The men&#8217;s title went to\u00a0<strong>J.
