MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 21. THE University of Iowa men's swimming team was defeated in a conference dual today by the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Gophers won 13 of the 16 events to defeat the Hawkeyes 112-175.<\/p>\n
Senior Jay Glenn led the way for the Hawkeyes, winning the 100-yard freestyle and finishing second in the 200-yard freestyle. Junior Marko Milenkovic won the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:01.18. Nick Hinz, Andrei Prada, Ales Abersek, and Jay Glenn won the 200-yard
\nmedley relay with a time of 1:31.40.<\/p>\n
Keam Ang was the only Gopher to win two individual swimming events, taking both the 100 fly (49.09) and the 200 fly (1:46.21). Dan Croaston triumphed on both the one- and three-meter boards.<\/p>\n
