AT the NIAA Class 4A Swimming and Diving Championships, Palo Verde High School walked away the boy&#39;s and girl&#39;s state titles.  On the boy&#39;s side, Palo Verde scored 105 points, followed by Bishop Gorman (67) and Reno (58).  The Palo Verde girls scored 86 points, while Green Valley placed second (80) and Coronado finished third (64).<\/p>\n<p><b>Girls Results<\/b><br \/>\nMikayda Mills (Palo Verde) finished first in the sprint races with times of 24.32 (50 freestyle) and 52.38 (100 freestyle).  She teamed up with Alexis Mayhall, Kelly Chism, and Megan Kelley in the 200 medley relay for a first-place finish with a time of 1:50.65.  Kelley also had an individual win in the 100 butterfly (58.93).<\/p>\n<p>Junior Allie Dodds (Green Valley) won the 200 (1:54.63) and 500 (5:07.89) freestyles.  She teamed up with Carlee Oswald, Devin Dorough, and Addie Oswald for a win in the 400 freestyle relay (3:38.93).  A.  Oswald had an individual win in the 200 IM (2:08.45) as well.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Gorman&#39;s Ciera Cortney won the diving competition with a score of 483.25.  Edith Feld (Foothill) took the runner-up spot (362.25) and Crysta Imahara (Green Valley) placed third (356.90).<\/p>\n<p>Kylie Sesto, Kim Coombs, Megan Scharar, and Mills won the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:42.26.<\/p>\n<p><b>Boys Results<\/b><br \/>\nAndrew Chin, Jake Priest, Robbie Hill, and Jay Sirat of Palo Verde opened the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay (1:38.11).  Their teammate, Gianni Sesto, had individual wins in the 200 freestyle (1:40.71) and the 100 backstroke (52.59).  He joined Hill, Chin, and Sirat in the 200 freestyle relay for a first-place finish (1:27.75).<\/p>\n<p>Sophomore Robert Hommel (Green Valley) had individual wins in the 200 IM (1:53.00) and the 500 freestyle (4:37.31).<\/p>\n<p>In the diving competition, Eddie Kollar (Douglas) secured first place with 504.60 points.  Gabe Falkner (Arbor View) and Ethan Sanders (Foothill) followed with scores of 400.80 and 346.60 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Senior Michael Weiss won the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.39.  He combined with Fritz Roepke, Sam Schouweiler, and Chris Tung in the 400 freestyle relay.
