The United States has announced their roster of forty for the 2016 Junior Pan Pacific Championships, which will be held in Maui, Hawaii August 24th-27th. The team will feature rosters of twenty boys and twenty girls\u00a0who will be coached by\u00a0Chris Plumb<\/strong> of Carmel Swim Club and\u00a0John Morse<\/strong> of Nashville Aquatic Club.<\/p>\n

Plumb, who will be spearheading the men’s coaching staff, will be joined by\u00a0Brent Arckey<\/strong> (Sarasota Sharks),\u00a0Crystal Coleman<\/strong> (Penn Charter), and\u00a0Kevin Zacher<\/strong> (Scottsdale Aquatic Club). The women’s side will be led by Morse and fellow coaches\u00a0Mike DeBoor<\/strong> (Lakeside Swim Team),\u00a0Terry Jones<\/strong> (Magnolia Aquatic Club), and\u00a0Chris Webb<\/strong> (Fort Collins Area Swim Team).<\/p>\n

Selection procedures for the team were largely based on results from the 2016 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials and features top young and rising stars\u00a0Cassidy Bayer, Sean Grieshop<\/strong>, and\u00a0Reece Whitley,\u00a0<\/strong>medalists from the 2015 FINA World Junior Championships.<\/p>\n
