LITTLETON, Colorado, May 22. AT the 4A state meet, Lewis-Palmer secured first-place with 322 points, followed by Fossil Ridge (220) and Cheyenne Mountain (211). The Regis Jesuit boys won the title at the 5A state meet with 364.5 points. Highlands Ranch placed second (273) while Cherry Creek finished third (263.5).<\/p>\n
4A Results<\/b>
\nLewis-Palmer took two of three relays. They won the 200 medley (1:36.38) and 200 freestyle (1:27.70) relays.<\/p>\n
Christian Treat of Conifer had individual wins in the 200 and 100 freestyles with time of 1:41.79 and 46.90 respectively.<\/p>\n
Moffat County's Cole Worsley set a meet record in the 50 freestyle with a prelim time of 21.05, while Tanner Krall (Pueblo South) set a meet record in the 100 breaststroke (56.72).<\/p>\n
Thompson Valley's Travis Hartman won the diving competition with a score of 470.95, followed by teammates Greg Conway (467.60) and Brent White (408.70).<\/p>\n
Freshman Ryan Arata (Lewis-Palmer) had individual wins in the 100 butterfly (50.82) and the 100 backstroke (51.92).<\/p>\n
Cheyenne Mountain closed the meet with a win in the 400 freestyle relay (3:14.10).<\/p>\n
5A Results<\/b>
\nRegis Jesuit had first-place finishes in the 200 medley and 200 freestyle (1:27.25) relays. They clocked a time of 1:33.84 in the 200 medley relay for a state record.<\/p>\n
Sophomore Steve Schmuhl (Legacy\/Horizon) set meet records in the 200 (1:38.40) and 100 (45.28) freestyles.<\/p>\n
John Fox (Chatfield) won the diving competition with a score of 538.35 followed by Jesuit's Kevin Moore (447.35) and Poudre's Rick Eberle (414.95).<\/p>\n
