In that swim she posted a 28.24 in finals, which was faster than the old mark set by <strong>Sarai Gascon<\/strong> of Spain.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday night the 24 year old set the American and PanAmerican records in the S9 100 freestyle with a 1:01.25.<\/p>\n<p>Konkoly has spent the past year training full time after deferring medical school. She spoke with <em>Swimming World\u00a0<\/em>after the session about how she\u00a0was overjoyed to have experienced her first time drops in over a year. In both prelims and finals of both swims this weekend she got faster.
