He&#8217;s the world leader in that event.<\/p>\n<p>Another meet record fell in the women&#8217;s 200 breaststroke as\u00a0<strong>Taylor McKewon\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 2:22.62.\u00a0<strong>Emma McKeon\u00a0<\/strong>clocked a 2:07.83 200 butterfly meet record.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emily Seebohm\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Minna Atherton\u00a0<\/strong>were both under the 100 backstroke meet mark with times of 59.20 and 59.34. That time moves Atherton up to eighth in the world this year. She was ninth in 59.46.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keryn McMaster<\/strong>&#8216;s 4:41.07 400 IM was also a new meet mark.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mack Horton\u00a0<\/strong>just beat\u00a0<strong>Jack McLoughlin\u00a0<\/strong>7:55.74 to 7:55.97 for the 800 freestyle crown.<\/p>\n<p><strong>James Magnussen\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 22.27 to win the 50 freestyle. New Zealand&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Bradlee Ashby\u00a0<\/strong>won the men&#8217;s 200 IM over a second ahead of the field in 2:01.89.<\/p>\n<p><strong>David Morgan\u00a0<\/strong>grabbed 100 butterfly gold in 53.13 with\u00a0<strong>Grant Irvine\u00a0<\/strong>following in 53.28.\u00a0<strong>Matthew Wilson\u00a0<\/strong>led four swimmers under 1:03 in the 100 breaststroke. He touched in 1:02.18.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cameron McEvoy\u00a0<\/strong>was victorious in the men&#8217;s 200 freestyle in 1:47.30.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Braedan Jason\u00a0<\/strong>was the only swimmer under 2 minutes in the multiclass 200 freestyle with his 1:59.06.\u00a0<strong>Ellie Cole\u00a0<\/strong>dominated the multiclass 100 freestyle with her 1:03.89.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/liveresults.swimming.org.au\/SAL\/2016GP1\/\" target=\"_blank\">Click here to view full results<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While\u00a0Cate Campbell&#8216;s 100 freestyle world record was certainly the most impressive swim of the evening, there were other meet records\u00a0on night two of the Australia Grand Prix.
