The show did not disappoint.<\/p>\n<p>While Phelps lead at each wall, the two turned in synch and well ahead of the field after the breaststroke. Phelps pulled further ahead in the final few strokes to touch first in 1:55.91, the second fastest time in the world this year. The world record holder\u00a0finished second tonight in 1:56.22, the world&#8217;s third best this year.
