Following the conclusion of the fifth day of action of the U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb.,\u00a0Swimming World’s\u00a0<\/em>David Rieder and SwimVortex’s John Lohn again took a few minutes to break down every race from the evening session.<\/p>\n

Rieder and Lohn discussed epic race in the men’s 200 breast where\u00a0Josh Prenot\u00a0<\/strong>used an incredible back half to run down\u00a0Kevin Cordes<\/strong> and\u00a0Will Licon<\/strong> and the potential epic showdown looming in Rio, as well as\u00a0Cammile Adams’<\/strong> redemptive victory in the women’s 200 fly. They also talked about\u00a0Nathan Adrian’s<\/strong> win in the men’s 100 free and what could be in store for the U.S. 400 free relay come Rio.<\/p>\n

They also discussed semifinal action that included\u00a0Michael Phelps<\/strong> and\u00a0Ryan Lochte<\/strong> in action in the 200 IM, and they looked ahead to Friday’s prelims, where\u00a0Missy Franklin<\/strong> will compete in her signature event after missing out on the women’s 100 free final.<\/p>\n
