She touched in 1:06.07, the fourth-fastest time in the world for 2016. It marked Meili&#8217;s first time making an Olympic team or even a senior national team for the United States.<\/p>\n<p>After the swim, Meili spoke with\u00a0<em>Swimming World<\/em> about her emotions and how it felt embracing her teammates after the biggest breakthrough of her career.
