Heat sheets are out and available for prelims of day three of the 2016 USA Swimming Trials. The morning session of day three will feature just three events in preparation before a night of finals.<\/p>\n

Entering the mix with tomorrow morning’s events is\u00a0the GOAT himself,\u00a0Michael Phelps.<\/strong> Phelps will begin his path to Rio in the same event where it all began–the 200 butterfly. Swimming in his fifth Olympic Trials Phelps will look to defend his spot as the top seed where he currently sits with a 1:52.94.<\/p>\n

Scratching out of prelims of the 200 free was\u00a0Maya DiRado,\u00a0<\/strong>who will be focusing on the 200 IM as she enters the mix as the top seed.<\/p>\n

Other notable scratches:\u00a0Kathleen Baker<\/strong> (200 IM).<\/p>\n

Prelims commence at 10 a.m. CST.<\/p>\n
