But at Olympic Trials, finishing second is just as good as finishing first, and Vollmer could not complain after booking her ticket to Rio with a second-place finish Monday night.<\/p>\n<p>After the race, Vollmer spoke to\u00a0<em>Swimming World<\/em> about her mixed emotions on the swim and why she felt like she could not approach peak form.
