Shortly after the completion of the first night of finals at USA Swimming Trials in Omaha, Neb.,\u00a0Swimming World<\/em>‘s\u00a0<\/em>David Rieder and SwimVortex’s John Lohn broke down the entire first night of racing, which included one major upset and one epic race where the eventual winner never led until the final 25 meters.<\/p>\n

Somehow, the one American record that fell during the session ended up a total afterthought.<\/p>\n
