Not long after training partner\u00a0Michael Phelps\u00a0<\/strong>talked to the media<\/a>,\u00a0Allison Schmitt<\/strong> hopped on stage with\u00a0Bob Bowman<\/strong> to talk about her third Olympic Trials. The duo touched on Schmitt’s growth as a swimmer in the past few years, as well as, her love of racing. Schmitt, who has talked openly about her struggle with depression, touched on how she has grown since 2014 when she was considering quitting and how she and Bowman decided to take it week-by-week as she got back in the swing of things.<\/p>\n

Schmitt, who is close friends with Phelps and fianc\u00e9\u00a0Nicole Johnson<\/strong>, touched on how the two are perfect for each other and how\u00a0Boomer<\/strong> is the happiest baby around.<\/p>\n
