Australia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alessandra Colombini\u00a0<\/strong>posted a 9:00.97 for second and Hawaii&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nohea Lileikis\u00a0<\/strong>was third in 9:03.00.<\/p>\n<p>New Zealand teammates continued the country&#8217;s winning run as\u00a0<strong>Wilrich Coetzee\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Jonathan Rutter\u00a0<\/strong>topped the men&#8217;s 200 IM podium with times of 2:05.51 and 2:05.58. New Caledonia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Thibaut Mary\u00a0<\/strong>finished third in 2:10.40.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Helena Gasson<\/strong>, also of New Zealand, picked up gold in the women&#8217;s 200 IM with her 2:16.95. Australia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Bec Cross\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Hadley Lyndsay\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 2:18.94 and 2:19.94 to complete the podium.<\/p>\n<p>New Zealand&#8217;s\u00a0winning trend continued as\u00a0<strong>Daniel Hunter\u00a0<\/strong>stopped the clock in 22.49 in the men&#8217;s splash and dash. His prelims time of 22.48 was a new meet record.\u00a0<strong>Cameron Jones\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Jake Kersten\u00a0<\/strong>of Australia rounded out that podium with times of 22.82 and 22.91.<\/p>\n<p>The women&#8217;s 50 freestyle was a younger heat, with 16 year old\u00a0<strong>Gabrielle Fa&#8217;amausili\u00a0<\/strong>touching in 25.60, ahead of 15 and 17 year old Australians\u00a0<strong>Natasha Ramsden\u00a0<\/strong>(25.96) and\u00a0Lyndsay (26.25).<\/p>\n<p>The tables finally turned in the men&#8217;s 200 breaststroke when Australian\u00a0<strong>Zac Stubblety-Cook\u00a0<\/strong>(2:16.69) grabbed gold. His teammate\u00a0<strong>Nathan Zhu\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Jonathan Rutter\u00a0<\/strong>of New Zealand tied for second in 2:17.13.<\/p>\n<p>Cross won the women&#8217;s 200 breaststroke in 2:34.83.<strong> Ellie Eastwood\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Millie Macdonald<\/strong>, both of New Zealand, finished in 2:36.10 and 2:37.13.<\/p>\n<p>The Australian squad of\u00a0<strong>Zac Incerti,\u00a0<\/strong>Zhu, Jones and Kersten took men&#8217;s 400 medley relay gold in 3:42.67.
