Fourteen year old\u00a0<strong>Moana Wind\u00a0<\/strong>of Fiji was second in 33.78. Third went to Australia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Bec Cross\u00a0<\/strong>in 33.92.<\/p>\n<p>The top six men cracked the 30 second mark in the 50 breaststroke.\u00a0<strong>Benji Schulte\u00a0<\/strong>of Guam turned in a 29.26 to take the title, just ahead of New Zealand&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jacob Garrod\u00a0<\/strong>in 29.32. A tenth behind for third was Fiji&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Meli Malani\u00a0<\/strong>(29.42).<\/p>\n<p>There was a close battle in the women&#8217;s 400 freestyle. Australian\u00a0<strong>Acacia Wildin-Snedden\u00a0<\/strong>maintained a lead of between six tenths and three hundredths throughout the race to beat New Zealand&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Monique King\u00a0<\/strong>4:17.00 to 4:17.99. In third was New Zealand&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Carina Doyle\u00a0<\/strong>with a 4:21.07.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wesley Roberts\u00a0<\/strong>of the Cook Islands stopped the clock in 3:57.91 for the men&#8217;s 400 freestyle crown. Also under four minutes was\u00a0<strong>Matt Hyde\u00a0<\/strong>of New Zealand in 3:58.29. Hawaii&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Michael Petrides\u00a0<\/strong>completed the podium in 4:06.05.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Helena Gasson\u00a0<\/strong>of New Zealand was the only woman under a minute in the 100 butterfly, touching in 59.91.\u00a0Australians\u00a0<strong>Alice Stuart\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Mikaela Cornelissen\u00a0<\/strong>finished in 1:00.68 and 1:01.28.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cameron Jones\u00a0<\/strong>of Australia was victorious in the men&#8217;s 100 butterfly with a 53.69. Championship record holder\u00a0<strong>Ryan Pini\u00a0<\/strong>of Papau New Guinea earned silver with a 54.13. New Zealand&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Wilrich Coetzee\u00a0<\/strong>won bronze with his 55.08.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annabelle Paterson\u00a0<\/strong>of New Zealand\u00a0dominated the women&#8217;s 200 backstroke with a 2:16.68. Somoa&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lushavel Stickland\u00a0<\/strong>posted a second place 2:23.99 and Hawaii&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nohea Lileikis\u00a0<\/strong>swam a 2:24.98 for third.<\/p>\n<p>New Zealand teammates\u00a0<strong>Corneille Coetzee\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Jackson Cropp\u00a0<\/strong>topped the men&#8217;s 200 back podium in 2:03.62 and 2:05.10. Hawaii&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Michael Petrides\u00a0<\/strong>was third with a 2:15.62.<\/p>\n<p>Australia claimed both 400 freestyle relays.\u00a0<strong>Natasha Ramsden<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Abby Duncan<\/strong>, Wildin-Snedden, and\u00a0<strong>Hadley Lyndsay\u00a0<\/strong>posted a 3:48.73 to win the women&#8217;s.\u00a0<strong>Jake Kersten<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Zac Incerti<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Caiden Gill<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Cameron Jones\u00a0<\/strong>combined for a 3:20.25 for the men&#8217;s title.<\/p>\n<p>Full results here:\u00a0<a
