ON the third night of action at the USA Swimming Sectionals held in Germantown, North Baltimore&#39;s Christie Raleigh won three titles.<\/p>\n<p>The 200 medley relays opened the evening.  Curl Burke&#39;s Meredith Cavalier, Ellyn Baumgardner, Madison Rupp and Jayme Katis led eight teams under the meet record with a 1:45.28 for the women&#39;s win.  Williamsburg owned the previous record with a 1:49.58 set in 2006.  Aqua Gems&#39; Alex Stuart, Kenneth Kleso, Ayman Andrews and Jamie Grennan posted a time of 1:34.42 to lead eight teams under the meet record.  Williamsburg posted a 1:36.91 back in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>Loyola Blakefield&#39;s Tanja Kyllianen ripped off a 1:58.73 to lead four swimmers under the meet record in the women&#39;s 200-yard fly.  The time beat the 2:00.75 set by Emily Goetsch back in 2002.  Star&#39;s Courtney Otto (1:58.96), Unique&#39;s Meaghan Holloway (1:59.37) and GPAC&#39;s Hayley Edwards (2:00.23) finished second through fourth.  The Fish&#39;s Michael Flach won the men&#39;s 200-yard fly with a 1:48.95, while Curl Burke&#39;s Kurtis Ratcliff took second in 1:49.54.  Retriever&#39;s Brooks Gabel placed third in 1:50.15.<\/p>\n<p>Raleigh clocked a meet-record time of 22.79 in the women&#39;s 50-yard free to break the 22.80 set by Green Terror&#39;s Bethany Adams in prelims.  Adams finished second in 23.09, while Curl Burke&#39;s Cavalier wound up third in 23.57.  Eric Knight downed his prelim meet record of 20.21 with a 20.18 at night.  Nova of Virginia&#39;s Mac Anthony touched second in 20.83, while Grennan placed third in 20.89.<\/p>\n<p>Lancaster&#39;s Emily Cameron posted a time of 2:15.13 in the women&#39;s 200-yard breast, while Fox Chapel&#39;s Stephanie O&#39;Toole (2:15.90) eclipsed the meet record of 2:16.34 set by Katie Hoff back in 2003.  Team Delaware&#39;s Katherine Rechsteiner rounded out the top three in 2:16.58.  Jewish Community&#39;s Dave Montgomery topped the men&#39;s 200-yard breast with a time of 2:02.62, while Ridgefield&#39;s Brian Bollerman finished second in 2:04.19.  Williamsburg&#39;s Jason Haigh claimed third in 2:04.52.<\/p>\n<p>NBAC&#39;s Raleigh picked up her second triumph with a 55.22 in the women&#39;s 100-yard back.  Meredith Monroe (56.29) and Jewish Community&#39;s Andrea Marko (56.42) completed the top three.  NBAC&#39;s Greg Pelton clipped the meet record in the men&#39;s 100-yard back with a 49.41.  Mark Liscinsky owned the previous record with a 49.44. Star&#39;s Philip Aronica turned in a second-place time of 50.86, while Woodland Hills&#39; Chuck Destro took third in 51.61.<\/p>\n<p>Kate Ziegler of The Fish continued her return to the water with a 4:40.18 for the win in the women&#39;s 500-yard free, while Pine Richland&#39;s Lindsay Vrooman took second in 4:48.26.  GPAC&#39;s Edwards wound up third in 4:53.15.  The Fish swept the top three in the men&#39;s 500-yard free with Flach (4:28.77), Matthew Benecki (4:34.98) and Adam Pennington (4:35.58) going 1-2-3.<\/p>\n<p>The 400 free relay closed the evening.  NBAC&#39;s Kendall Surhoff, Rachael Schaffer, Raleigh and Jordan Surhoff set the women&#39;s meet record with a 3:28.91.  The swim cleared the 3:30.18 set by NBAC in 2002.  Loyola Blakefield&#39;s Hugh Davison, Grant Singer, Alex Porter and Tyler Thein claimed the men&#39;s title in a meet record of 3:06.76.
