While swimming at the 2016 California June Age Group Championships\u00a0Ronald Dalmacio<\/strong> of Rose Bowl Aquatics cranked out a 27.88 50-meter backstroke to take down the existing 11-12 50 Back National Age Group record by more than half a second.<\/p>\n

The former record was set at a 28.41 by Kevin<\/strong> Kyi<\/strong>, a monumental swim at the time as it broke the seven-year-old record of 28.49 set by\u00a0Seth Beer.<\/strong><\/p>\n
