Last week the Hungarian Swimming Association announced 29 swimmers who have already been named to the nation’s 2016 Olympic roster.<\/p>\n
Leading the way are\u00a0Katinka Hosszu\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Laszlo Cseh.\u00a0<\/strong>Despite her consistent success with demanding event schedules, Hosszu will still be seeking her first Olympic medal in Rio. In 2012\u00a0she finished fourth in the 400 IM. This will be the fourth Olympic Games for the 27 year old.<\/p>\n Cseh has five Olympic medals to his name. In each of those events, Michael Phelps\u00a0<\/strong>took home gold. In his fourth Olympics the\u00a030 year old will be a major factor in the medals for both butterfly events.<\/p>\n The other women on the team are: Kata Buri\u00e1n<\/strong>, Zsuzsanna Jakabos, Ad\u00e9l Juh\u00e1sz, Bogl\u00e1rka Kap\u00e1s, Ajna K\u00e9sely, \u00c9va Risztov, Dalma Sebesty\u00e9n, Lili\u00e1na Szil\u00e1gyi<\/strong> and Evelyn Verraszt\u00f3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n G\u00e1bor Balog, P\u00e9ter Bernek, Rich\u00e1rd Bohus, D\u00e1vid F\u00f6ldh\u00e1zi, D\u00e1niel Gyurta, Gergely Gyurta, P\u00e9ter Holoda, Tam\u00e1s Kenderesi, Bence Kir\u00e1ly, Gergo Kis, Dominik Kozma, M\u00e1rk M\u00e9sz\u00e1ros, M\u00e1rk Papp, Krist\u00f3f Rasovszky, Kriszti\u00e1n Tak\u00e1cs, \u00c1d\u00e1m Telegdy, D\u00e1vid Verraszt\u00f3<\/strong> and Bal\u00e1zs Z\u00e1mb\u00f3\u00a0<\/strong>complete the men’s team.<\/p>\n Swimmers can still qualify through July 3 and additional swimmers would be added if additional relays qualify.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Last week the Hungarian Swimming Association announced 29 swimmers who have already been named to the nation’s 2016 Olympic roster.
