On Sunday, 68 men will take to the 10K course.<\/p>\n<p>Last summer&#8217;s World Championships were the first opportunity to qualify for the Rio Games. This weekend, only nations who do not yet have any athletes qualified may qualify a swimmer, with a maximum of one per gender earning an Olympic berth. The top ten finishers in each gender will punch their ticket to Rio, and the next continental finisher for each of the five continents will fill out the remaining five spots, with each nation only allowed to qualify their top athlete in the race.<\/p>\n<p>After the 2015 World Championships, there are ten women and ten men already qualified.<\/p>\n<p>For the women, they are:\u00a0<strong>Haley Anderson<\/strong> (USA), <strong>Kalliopi Araouzou<\/strong> (Greece), <strong>Rachele Bruni<\/strong> (Italy), <strong>Ana Marcela Cunha<\/strong> (Brazil), <strong>Isabelle H\u00e4rle<\/strong> (Germany), <strong>Anastasiia Krapivinia<\/strong> (Russia), <strong>Aurelie Muller<\/strong> (France), <strong>Poliana Okimoto<\/strong> (Brazil), <strong>\u00c9va Risztov<\/strong> (Hungary), and <strong>Sharon van Rouwendaa<\/strong>l (Netherlands).<\/p>\n<p>Already qualified men are:\u00a0<strong>Jack Burnell<\/strong> (Great Britain), <strong>Allan Do Carmo<\/strong> (Brazil), <strong>Spyridon Gianniotis<\/strong> (Greece), <strong>Marc-Antoine Olivier<\/strong> (France), <strong>Simone Ruffini<\/strong> (Italy), <strong>Sean Ryan<\/strong> (USA), <strong>Federico Vanelli<\/strong> (Italy), <strong>Ferry Weertman<\/strong> (Netherlands), <strong>Richard Weinberger<\/strong> (Canada), and <strong>Jordan Wilimovsky<\/strong>
