The winners on the final night included both reigning 100 back Olympic gold medalists,\u00a0<strong>Missy Franklin\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Matt Grevers<\/strong>, along with Danish World Champion\u00a0<strong>Lotte Friis<\/strong>, who put up a world top-ten time in the 800 free.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 200 Fly<\/h3>\n<p>Austin Swim Club&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Dakota Luther\u00a0<\/strong>was victorious in the first event of the evening as she led wire-to-wire in the 200 fly. She came in at 2:12.53, more than a second ahead of anyone else in the field. A pair of teammates as Westlake High School finished 1-2 in the race Longhorn&#8217;s <strong>Victoria Edwards<\/strong>\u00a0took\u00a0second in in 2:13.74. Clark built a lead of about a half second on Conger at the 150 and then held on for dear life down the stretch, touching in 1:56.97, to Conger&#8217;s 1:57.01. North Baltimore&#8217;s <strong>Chase Kalisz<\/strong> was right there as well, touching third in 1:57.32. Those three times are the fastest by Americans\u00a0so far this year.<\/p>\n<p>NCAA champion\u00a0<strong>Joseph Schooling\u00a0<\/strong>was in the field and with the top three at the halfway point, but he faded badly and ended up seventh in 2:02.31.\u00a0<strong>Max Holter<\/strong> ended up taking fourth in 2:01.07, followed by Nitro&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sean Grieshop\u00a0<\/strong>in 2:01.46 and Tucson Ford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Rasmus Skjaerpe<\/strong> in 2:02.19. Friis, the Olympic bronze medalist in the 800 in 2008 and World Champion a year later, touched in 8:24.33, which ranks eighth in the world for 2016. Runge took second in 8:28.64, which ranks fifth among Americans this year behind\u00a0<strong>Katie Ledecky<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Leah Smith<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Becca Mann<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Stephanie Peacock<\/strong>, and Schmidt was third in 8:30.82.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joanna Evans\u00a0<\/strong>was the next fastest, clocking 8:45.30 for fourth, and Athens Bulldog&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Rachel Zilinskas\u00a0<\/strong>finished fifth in 8:50.09. Nolan came in at 1:59.40, and Licon, who earlier in the evening won the 100 breast, took second in 2:00.41. North Baltimore&#8217;s <strong>Mohamed Hussain<\/strong> rounded out the top three in 2:02.03.<\/p>\n<p>North Baltimore&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Austin Surhoff<\/strong> finished fourth in 2:03.16.
