Laning currently sits as the top-ranked swimmer in the state of Tennessee for her class and is ranked 32nd nation-wide according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.collegeswimming.com\/swimmer\/271850\/\" target=\"_blank\">collegeswimming.com.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>At this past year&#8217;s Tennessee State Championships Laning claimed wins in both the 200 (1:46.36) and 500 (4:42.79) freestyles.
