{"id":205031,"date":"2016-05-28T10:25:41","date_gmt":"2016-05-28T17:25:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=205031"},"modified":"2016-05-28T10:25:41","modified_gmt":"2016-05-28T17:25:41","slug":"kosuke-hagino-crushes-200-free-at-bergen-swim-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/kosuke-hagino-crushes-200-free-at-bergen-swim-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Kosuke Hagino Crushes 200 Free at Bergen Swim Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Kosuke Hagino<\/strong> dominated the men&#8217;s 200-meter free in a time of 1:47.00 at the 2016 Bergen Swim Festival. \u00a0He&#8217;s been faster with a third-ranked 1:45.50 from Japanese Nationals. \u00a0<strong>Mark Small<\/strong> placed second in 1:50.12 with <strong>Marco Belotti<\/strong> earning third in 1:50.14.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Katinka Hosszu<\/strong> won the women&#8217;s 200-meter free in a time of 1:59.77. \u00a0That&#8217;s well off her 11th-ranked 1:56.31 from the Golden Tour. \u00a0<strong>Marte Lovberg<\/strong> took second in 2:02.63 with <strong>Cecelie Johannessen<\/strong> earning third in 2:02.70.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu then claimed\u00a0the women&#8217;s 100-meter back in 1:00.80. \u00a0She&#8217;s been a third-ranked 58.94 at the European Championships. \u00a0<strong>Eyglo Gustafsdottir<\/strong> took second in 1:02.13 with<strong> Barbora Zavadova<\/strong> placing third in 1:03.14.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu followed by winning the women&#8217;s 50-meter free knockout rounds. \u00a0Michele Santucci won the men&#8217;s 50-meter free tournament. See below for results.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu picked up her fourth title with a 2:10.50 win in the women&#8217;s 200-meter fly. \u00a0Her best this year is an eighth-ranked 2:07.11 from the Golden Tour. <strong>Natsumi Hoshi<\/strong>, the third-ranked swimmer in the world with a 2:06.32 from Japanese Nationals, took second in a 2:11.73. \u00a0<strong>Barbora Zavadova<\/strong> finished third in 2:12.35.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu won another round of knockouts, this time in the women&#8217;s 50-meter fly.
