She already holds the world&#8217;s third best time. The old Championship record was a 59.41, set by\u00a0<strong>Anastasia Zueva\u00a0<\/strong>in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after her 200 IM, <strong>Katinka Hosszu<\/strong> was back in the pool, this time claiming the second seed in tonight&#8217;s semifinal, posting a 59.38. Hosszu also just slid under the old record.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kathleen Dawson\u00a0<\/strong>of Great Britain swam a new Scottish record of 1:00.60 to earn the third seed.\u00a0<strong>Katarina Listopadova\u00a0<\/strong>swam a 1:00.78 for fourth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ekaterina Avramova\u00a0<\/strong>of Turkey crushed heat 3, posting a 1:00.82, good for fifth.\u00a02014 bronze medalist\u00a0<strong>Georgia Davies\u00a0<\/strong>won her heat in 1:00.84, and returns tonight as the sixth seed.<br \/>\nNIELSEN Mie Oe.
