Men’s 200 IM Semi-finals:<\/h3>\n

Andreas Vazaios<\/strong> of Greece clocked the top time in semi-finals of the men’s 200 IM, stopping the clock at a 1:58.47. Vazaios’ time enters him into the top 20 world rankings for 2016 at thirteenth.<\/p>\n

Posting the only other sub-2 minute swim was Portugal’s\u00a0Alexis Manacas Santos<\/strong>. Santos delivered a final time of 1:59.93 to return as the second place seed in tomorrow’s final.<\/p>\n

The field narrowed from there with the third through eighth place qualifiers posting times .79 seconds apart.\u00a0Diogo Filipe Carvalho<\/strong> of Portugal grabbed the third place seed with a 2:00.07.<\/p>\n

Israel’s\u00a0Gal Nevo<\/strong> finished fourth overall with a 2:00.32, while fifth fell to\u00a0Federico Turrini<\/strong> of Italy.<\/p>\n

The sixth place seed was picked up by Luxembourg’s\u00a0Raphael Stacchiotti<\/strong> and his time of (2:00.72).<\/p>\n

The British duo of\u00a0Dan Wallace<\/strong> (2:00.74) and\u00a0Max Litchfield<\/strong> (2:00.86) rounded out the qualifiers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
