Flickinger succeeded in shaving 2.21 seconds off her prelims time of 2:10.82 to tie for twentieth in the world rankings for 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Moving up from fifth to second was Stanford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ella Eastin<\/strong>.
