The tourney high thus far for goals in a game helped give the United States their third straight win with Olympic host Brazil looming <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_465175632\"><span class=\"aQJ\">on Friday<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.usawaterpolo.org\/sports\/m-senior\/mtt\/merrill_moses_833770.html\" target=\"_blank\">Merrill Moses<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(Palos Verdes, CA\/Pepperdine\/NYAC) and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.usawaterpolo.org\/sports\/m-senior\/mtt\/mcquin_baron_852344.html\" target=\"_blank\">McQuin Baron<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(North Tustin, CA\/USC\/Regency) continued to split time in net recording eight combined saves. Bonanni netted four times, and Ukumanov a hat-trick, in the opening exchanges.<\/p>\n<p>Ukumanov also netted the Kazakhs\u2019 only goal of the second period, during which the Americans pulled 9-4 clear on the way to maintaining their flawless start with a 19-7 win.<\/p>\n<p>Bonanni eventually won their personal shootout, bagging nine goals \u2014 the tournament\u2019s best single haul so far \u2014 to Ukumanov\u2019s four.<\/p>\n<p>Brazil lie in wait for USA, and coach\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.usawaterpolo.org\/sports\/m-senior\/mtt\/dejan_udovicic_846019.html\" target=\"_blank\">Dejan Udovicic<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0highlighted defensive improvement and better focus, compared with <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_465175634\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Wednesday\u2019s<\/span><\/span> too-close-for-comfort 17-14 win over Japan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we made a little progress but we need to continue to improve our game because we want to raise the bar as high as possible.
